CHESTNUTS so good!

Autumn… time for chestnuts! In Tuscany there are so many woods where you can pick up chestnuts. They can be cooked in boiled water, can be roasted or can be added to other food. And in Tuscany we have a special cake called Castagnaccio which is made with chestnuts flour, walnuts, pine nuts and raisin. (soon I’ll post the true tuscan recipe!).

So have a nice walk looking for chestnuts and enjoy eating them!
